95 Million Years to the End of the Universe

What is it

I wrote an adventure for Mothership. It's about a mysterious structure found on the surface of Enceladus, which is an ice moon orbiting Saturn. It'll probably kill your players, and the setting makes it difficult to tie into a campaign. Sorry about that.

Cassini-2-Herschel - Mission to Saturn & Enceladus
The first of its kind - a manned mission to the surface of Saturn’s moon, Enceladus. Fifteen years ago, during the original Cassini mission, researchers detected a signal around the icy moon that defied all explanation. Today, you are part of the team sent to investigate it. The Cassini-2 orbiter glints in the black sky above.

Herschel Research Station
The research station sits atop a plateau of relatively flat ice and snow. Trails spider out from the central hub to dozens of excavation sites spread across the southern hemisphere. One such site, Zeta, lies at the centre of a large crater.

Blurry footage of a glacial crater. The video is obscured by heavy snowfall and interference artifacts. Human figures in heavy coats trudge ahead, their arms raised in defiance of the weather. In the distance stands a tall, black tower.
